Item is in very good condition for its age. It retains its original matt but has been newly backed [floating] with acid-free materials & is in its original glassed frame. This will not unfortunately be removed for shipping purposes.
As with all paper based artworks we always recommend these are kept away from direct sunlight and also that the environment has stable humidity of around 50%. All backings should be check annually to ensure moisture has not degraded the seal.

Hiroko Mori (1942–2017) was a world-renowned Japanese copperplate print artist. In her Catalogue Raisonne there are more than 300 works ranging from masterpieces to hidden pieces in her atelier are showcased. Her sensitive, gentle, yet mysterious depiction of children, animals, and angels take you to a surreal world.
Hiroko Mori was a copperplate artist who lived in Otaru City, Hokkaido. Her any works with motifs such as angels, children and cats are exhibited in old warehouse Museum of her name in Otaru City.
She married Hasegawa Yoko in 1975, and passed away 1 May 2017 due to illness.
