Roslyn A Kean was born Sydney, Australia in 1953. Studied at: Fine Arts National Art School, Sydney; Shillito Design School, Sydney; Slade School of Fine Art, UCL, London; London College of Bookbinding, London; & Graduate Research at Tokyo University of Fine Art, Tokyo.
Currently Roslyn Kean is the Director of the Stables Print Studio, Galston NSW, Australia.
She now specialises in the production of unique state works on paper incorporating the traditional practice of Japanese Woodblock Printing.
Teaching at The Workshop Arts Centre, Willoughby, The Stables Print Studio, Galston and conducting summer schools at The Australian Print Workshop, Melbourne.
Roslyn is represented in international and Australian collections including the Art Gallery of NSW, Australian National Gallery and private collections throughout the world.
